Ada Estuary ( Volta River)

The Volta River remains the lifeblood of country as it courses south and the out into the Gulf of Guinea at Ada a fisherman’s delight.

All day on the Volta River is a busy time, with funky, colourful boats departing and returning with their catch from the big blue beyond the brakes.

Five kilometres off the coast fanatic fisherman go in search of Wahu, Snapper and all the colours of  Tuna.

Here in Ghana, at the mouth of the Volta ( on which is found the largest dam in the world, with a 5000km shoreline), is found the perfect fisher secret.
